Something not right? Write to a person.
Forge Fitness is made by one small company, and the email below reaches it directly. There is no ticket queue and no bot.
Before you write
Two things that make a bug fixable.
Send the diagnostics report
In the app: the ☰ menu → Settings → Send Feedback. It opens an email already carrying your build number, your iOS version, your sync status and the real last error.
It contains no readings and no personal data, just the shape of your setup, which is usually all it takes to find the cause.
Say what you expected
“My streak says 12 but the calendar shows 14 days” is worth more than “the streak is broken”. The gap between what you expected and what you saw is where the bug lives.
A screenshot of the screen in question helps enormously.
Common questions
The ones that come up most.
My recovery card shows dashes
A dash means Forge has no reading for that night. It never fills one in. Usually the tracker hasn’t synced yet: open its own app, then pull to refresh on the Forge card. If you know the number, tap the dash and type it in.
Which wearables work?
Oura and WHOOP connect directly. Apple Watch, Garmin, Fitbit and anything else that writes to Apple Health arrive through Health.
Garmin never sends HRV to Apple Health, so that stays a dash. That’s Garmin’s limit, not a bug in Forge.
Will I lose my training if I change phones?
No. Everything syncs through your own iCloud account, so signing in on a new iPhone brings it all back. Check ☰ → Settings → Sync Status to confirm backup is on before you switch.
Can I bring history from another app?
Yes. ☰ → Settings → Import History reads a Hevy or Strong export, and Excel files too. You see exactly what will be imported before anything is written.
What do my friends see?
Only what you switch on, in ☰ → Privacy & sharing, and only for the friends you pick. Recovery readings are per friend and per reading, and turning one off deletes what they could see straight away.
Delete everything
Deleting the app removes it from your phone; deleting the Forge Fitness data in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage removes the backup. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
